Special Selection: "Summer of Seven Years Old"

Manazashi Photo Club First Period Photo Contest "Summer" Special Selection
During summer vacation, after much deliberation, I decided to go back home, but I couldn't go out and play, so I decided to enjoy the things I could only do at my parents' house, which has a garden! So I sent a large home swimming pool to my parents' house.
My daughter was having fun playing in the shower and with a water gun. I was clicking the shutter, thinking to myself that she is still a child, but when she turned around, I was startled by her expression, which showed both the innocence of a child and the dignity of a young girl.
My daughter is now in elementary school and is no longer a toddler. I noticed her growing up in her face and felt happy, but also a little sad. It was a moment when a variety of emotions came over me.

This photo really makes you feel that this summer was special in many ways, which is a very positive thing. The photo is filled with light, and I think it's wonderful that you were able to record something so beautifully, even though it wasn't anything special.
I'm happy to see her grow up, but also a little sad. Just as Keiko sensed that transience, so did I.
