What is Manazashi Photo Club?
In an age where things and information are overflowing, Balance Lab's corporate philosophy is to "create a world full of love."
Even the most ordinary days are irreplaceable for parents and children. I thought that if we could preserve those days in photographs, it would surely lead to "creating a world filled with love," and that's why I wanted to start an online photography club.
It was at that time that I came across Aibu Etsuko's photo book "Aimokawarazu."
The photographs displayed there show the warm gazes of parents and the gazes of children looking at their parents.
All the photos were very moving.
When we asked Aibu if he would like to be an advisor, he immediately agreed, and so the "Manazashi Photo Club" was started.
"Manazashi Photo Club Activity Record"

Grand Prize🏆
My daughter graduated from elementary school this spring. She is fluctuating between being surprisingly mature and still surprisingly childish. I didn't know she could look at her younger brother with such kindness and maturity. Even though she looks mature, she is worried and troubled. I'm sorry I always rely on her too much. Sometimes she explodes and cries and complains...

"The center of the family" Our house always revolves around my son. When holding hands, sleeping, or eating, my son always sits in the middle. I was a little jealous and muttered to myself that it would be nice to always be in the middle, and he said, "Then today I'll put you in the middle, mom!" and gave me a big favor. I got both of their gazes all to myself...

My husband interrupts me while I'm taking pictures of my son with my camera. He ignores my cries of "Hey! Get out of the way!" and takes pictures of my son with his phone. We're usually busy and only get together on our days off. My son has been rebelling against his dad, who treats him like a baby, and we sometimes get into conflict. So...

An overprotective dad and a spoiled daughter. Even though she has been able to brush her teeth by herself for a long time now... This is the only time I can see my daughter being spoiled by her dad, who has a slow morning, and it's a precious "gaze photo" that I want to keep.

On the way back from the park, my daughter started crying, and I was wondering if she'd let me take any more pictures, so I called out to her, "Look at me!" When she looked at me, she wasn't the usual precocious 5-year-old girl, but a little girl. Recently, she has become more and more mature in what she says and does, and I'm often surprised by how much she's grown up, but when I see her as a little girl...

April's theme: "My Photos"
Maybe because she witnessed my birth, my eldest daughter is very interested in childbirth. The other day, when I was looking back at the birth photos I had taken, she came up to me and said, "Show me what!" "Did the baby come out of your butt?" That night, I heard my eldest daughter calling me, and then I saw a small baby in my second daughter's (11 months old) belly...

March's theme is "Rising"
Tomorrow is the Dinosaur Museum! Photo and caption: @miona0825 Advisor's comment The theme for March was "rising". Some people will experience changes as the new school year approaches, some will have changes in their attitudes, and the scenery around us will change as spring approaches. What kind of perspective can be used to express such positive and upward changes as "rising" in a photo?

February's theme: "Resonating"
"The snow melts" I can't help but feel excited about the prospect of spring. Photo and caption: @konatsumugi8761 Advisor's comment The theme for February was "Resonating". Do you hear sounds from photos? I can somehow sense sounds from the colors of a photo, or I can sense a quiet or lively atmosphere...

January's theme: "Walk"
For the last four years, it was natural for us to be together. I wonder if walking hand in hand on the usual roads like this will become less common from spring... With a feeling of nostalgia for the ordinary, both parents and children are gradually preparing for a new stage in their lives. Photo and caption: @no_right_no_...

December theme: "My 2022"
I joined the Manazashi Photo Club and was able to talk about photography, life, and family with my friends. Thanks to that, I realized that the photos I want to take and the scenery I want to gaze at are the same. In 2022, we moved to a new house on Christmas. Looking through the viewfinder at the two of us sitting at the same dinner table, I realized that we were together...

November's theme is "Full"
Filled Photo and caption: @nami.179.5 Advisor's comment The theme for November was "filled." "Filled" means overflowing, or overflowing. I think it can mean many things, such as being filled with emotion, or filled with scenery or scenes. The members of the club have told us that their children...
