Special Selection: "First Fireworks 2020"
When I think of summer, the images that come to mind are fireworks, watermelon, and blue skies.
Among them, I remember fireworks well, from my childhood to now as an adult. Rather than the content of the fireworks, they are very personal and emotional memories that I can't tell anyone about, such as "where," "who," and "how I felt."
*
This photo was taken on the last day of my visit to my parents' home for the Obon holiday, and it was the first time my second son saw fireworks. It was taken with my beloved grandfather (my father).
*
I don't know how this photo made them feel. They might not have felt anything, or they might have been trembling with emotion. They might have thought, "That's so hot!" lol.
*
But I'm sure that when I look at this photo 10 or 20 years from now, I'll think the same as I do now, "Thank you so much for raising me and giving birth to me!" That's how precious and full of love the fireworks of summer 2020 are.

As Toku-san said, I don't know how they felt or what they were thinking, but this smile, this relationship remains in the photo. I think it's a very good photo for the father, too. I'm sure it's the same for the child.
