Grand Prize🏆"Be Proud of Yourself"

Manazashi Photo Club First Period Photo Contest "Summer" Grand Prize
When I think about it, summer in our house started with Corona.
It was a huge challenge for my young son.
It was a sudden weaning and a first for my baby to sleep away from me.
I think there were some painful procedures.
I heard there was a lot of crying.
Even after we got home, I was mentally unstable for a while, and both my child and I cried a lot.
August is the month when life slowly returns to normal and people start going outside again.
In this heat, what I want to get my kids doing is playing in the water!
However, my son was afraid of water and would just cling to me and watch his older sisters having fun.
In the midst of all this, we bought a tiny little home pool.
Although he was scared at first, he gradually became interested and eventually grew to the point where he was able to put it in on his own!
I was so happy to see my son enjoying the water.
I took a lot of pictures.
"Should we go inside now?"
In response to her call, his son replied, "It's not here!" and ran away completely naked.
I could feel his growth as his back was illuminated by the setting sun.
The whole family, even my little sisters, said, "Kippei, you did a great job!"
It was a summer in which I called out a lot of things like this.
As a mother, I am proud of this small, strong back, and I hope my son will be proud of himself as well.
This photo is number one in "Photos of our family this summer."
My butt is completely exposed...lol

Comment from Advisor

The moment I saw the photo, it really captured my heart. It's very sensational (the butt), but also nostalgic and above all, beautiful. This is exactly what I wanted to choose for this summer's photo contest, something I thought was "unfair". It's something that can only be taken now, and it can only be taken now. The way it's presented is also very skillful, and it's a photo that touches the heart and will stay with me forever.
I'm very proud of her, just like the saying goes, "Be proud of yourself." And I think that her family who sees her like that, and Chiyo who is proud of everyone's feelings, are mothers to be proud of.
