With the kids having fun blowing out the candles

My parents want to see that happy face again and again.

Now it's just a normal, everyday scene

One day the scenery will change and become unseen.

So I grabbed the camera every time

When I was little, I wanted to blow out the candles on everyone's birthdays, and I wanted to do so again and again. Now that I'm a parent, I love the sight of them doing that and want to light them again and again. This photo makes me think of myself as a child and myself as a parent now. Everyone in the family has such a happy look on their face. Even the short candles make me feel like everyone's feelings are overlapping. I was moved by this precious time filled with celebration.
