Special Selection: "Come again! A fist bump"

Manazashi Photo Club First Period Photo Contest "Manazashi" Grand Prize
My daughter loves her grandpa.

Whenever I go home, my grandpa always sits on the sofa and is always there when I want his attention.
Someone you can rely on and rely on with confidence.

Grandpa doesn't want to move from the sofa.
Because of rheumatism, moving my joints hurts.

My daughter doesn't know this, and she pulls me up by the hand and tries to climb on top of me, which makes me nervous as a parent.
But Grandpa tries to respond to his request.
It must hurt.
However, far from showing any such behavior, he looked calmer than usual.
This thing called "grandchild power" might actually be more effective than medicine.

This is the day we return home after a week's stay.
Before getting in the car, the grandfather slowly squatted down to be at eye level with his daughter, and held out his fists, which were not straight.

"Come again."

Then, even though he hadn't practiced, he seemed to understand it.

"Come again!"

he parroted, resting his fist on it.

The gaze of a grandfather towards his grandson.
The look a grandson gives his grandfather.

A precious moment that you simply want to cherish.
I'll come again. Stay healthy.

I'll come again. Stay healthy. Yoshiko's gaze is so tightly packed into these words. I was moved by this. The fist not straightened, the small fist resting on the ground, each and every one of them is a careful capture of the moment. I wish I had taken more photos like this one, it was such a wonderful shot that I felt jealous.
