Special Selection: "And Someday I'll Become a Grandmother"

Manazashi Photo Club First Period Photo Contest "Manazashi" Grand Prize
My beloved grandma is very busy.
I work on weekends too so we can't really hang out together.

My daughter was thrilled that we were going out to play on the day off that she had forced us to have!!!

No one came and said "Mom!" I was just a camera lady.

We took a short break and sat down on a bench, but my daughter was clinging to Grandma.

I love the happy look my daughter has when she looks at her grandmother, and the gentle look my grandmother has when she looks at her daughter, and I'm somehow envious of both.

I wonder if this is what it looks like when people see me and my daughter from the side?
Was this how my mother saw me when I was a child?

On the way home, my daughter fell asleep in the car, tired from playing.
I'm so jealous of how much you love your grandma today.
When I told my mother

You look the cutest when you're with mommy.

He told me that.

and

I realized after having a grandchild,
After all, my child is the cutest.
and.

Yes, I know.
The daughter's happy, sparkling gaze and the mother's warm, embracing gaze.
Both are directed at me too.

Although I rarely see my daughter's gaze from the sidelines, I want to return her sparkling gaze with a mother's loving gaze.

I also hope that my mother will continue to watch over her daughter (me) with kindness as she strives to be a mother.

I will always be a mother and a daughter.
There is always a loving gaze there.
This photo made me realize once again that because it is something that cannot be seen, I want to capture it in a photograph and remember it.

Such dazzling expressions. A gaze that conveys love directly. It's a photo I envy. You can feel their emotions from their gazes, and those emotions are transferred to the viewer. I really wish they'd stop. I'm sure KAORI is also looking at her daughter and her mother with the same gaze that her mother looks at her. I was really moved. We'll always be children, so let's depend on each other. I want to depend on others too.
