April theme: "One Step"
"First day at kindergarten"
The youngest child's first day at kindergarten.
There was a huge outburst of refusal from the morning.
I soothed him, praised him, got angry with him, and somehow we managed to get him on his way.
Until now, my mom had been the one to open this door.
Mom was holding my little brother so she opened it herself.
I thought it was still small, but it's getting bigger step by step.
Thank you, big brother.

April is a month of new beginnings, changes in the environment, new mindsets, and many other changes. It's also a month when you strongly feel the change of seasons, and you often feel changes in things both inside and outside. I wanted to show you what April was like for you, so I made the theme "One Step."
The photos we received from the club members included a variety of photos, including confused steps in response to changes in environment, steps full of hope, steps that show the cute steps of children, and steps that express the members' own feelings. Among them, we chose this photo by K.
It's one step in life. What I thought was the most wonderful thing about this photo is that it was taken from the mother's point of view. I think this perspective, taken while standing at the entrance, expresses everything in the caption. I was moved by the strong feeling that she wanted to support her child's first step from where she was standing, holding her youngest child.
Your child's back also looks very strong. I imagine he was holding his favorite toy and feeling a little anxious. I felt that this step was a big step and showed his emotional growth.
It was a photo that made it clear without my mother having to say anything that this was the feeling she had when she took the photo.
