The theme for February was "footsteps." What can you imagine from footsteps? The photos submitted by the club members were filled with various footsteps, such as signs, expectations, change, growth, and the energy of the children. They were all different, but I felt an atmosphere of moving forward. There were so many heart-warming photos that it was difficult to choose, but this is the one I chose.
I felt that this was a piece that left a lingering impression. In terms of quietness, it's a quiet photo, but I feel like I can hear the voices of children somewhere in the distance. So even though it's a quiet photo, it doesn't feel lonely at all. It's a landscape that everyone has seen before, and it links to their own memories, and each person who sees the voices and atmosphere can imagine them, and those imaginations can be felt in the presence, so I thought it was a piece that was in line with the theme of February.
The ray of light exudes an atmosphere of expectation and moving forward. The neatly lined up shoe lockers serve as a receptacle for the "footsteps," watching over the restless changing seasons. As if they are supporting the season of expectation. This is an image that makes you feel the "footsteps" while also being able to move forward with peace of mind.
