August theme: "Dazzling"

It was a moment when the sweat still flowing even at dusk and the earnest gazes of the people were more dazzling than the sparkle of the fireworks.

The theme for August was "dazzling." "Dazzling" evokes images of something sparkling, the admiration for that appearance, and the sadness that comes from that admiration. I think this photo embodies all the images that come to mind when you think of the word "dazzling." The soft and strong depiction is also perfect for that image. The child's gaze is very serious, and the glittering sweat also gives a sense of the dazzling quality of a summer. The way the mother is photographed conveys how dazzling her child is.
